Another update

There has been quite a lot going on equipment wise here. I'll start with what has actually arrived.


I received the Lezyne LED Super Drive that I won. It's very bright. It comes with 2 mounts for different sized handlebars, battery and USB charging cable. The light can be charged from a wall socket with an adapter. It seems a solid light made of machined aluminium and seems fairly waterproof. When I get the chance to give it a good test I'll report back.


I also received a USB AA/AAA battery charger. This is to charge my rechargeable AAA batteries used for my rear light. I paid a few quid for it from Amazon.


Still to arrive is a Topeak TourGuide bar bag, Topeak Super Tourist DX rear rack. I decided not to get a steel rear rack. I know they're stronger but I couldn't really afford one. I also ordered a pair of Endura Full Monty gloves. I've been using them for years on the mtb and they're great. I'm just not a fan of fingerless gloves. Maybe it's a mtb thing but I've always preferred full finger. Even in summer. The gel padding inserts are great. To anyone looking into getting them, make sure you get the older version. The new version has less padding.


I also bought myself a new digital camera. So expect better quality photos from now on!
