Topeak TourGuide bar bag - first impressions

After receiving the bag today I made the most of the winter sunshine and went for a short 15 mile pedal. Setting off around 2.30 I didn't have very long before it got dark. Fitting the clamp for the bag was easy. Like every other person that has the bag I really do not see the need for the security cable that is provided. Don't throw the cable away though - it's ideal for using a rear mech as a bodged singlespeed chain tensioner!

Rather than writing my thoughts I've made a video using my new camera!

I should mention that the mounting bracket supports Topeak's Panoram range of computers and all hardware is included.

Overall I really like this bar bag. It doesn't leave much room for lights so I had to put my light in the gap between the brake lever and grip. For me this isn't a problem but others might possibly not like it. Whatever bar bag you choose you will have this issue however.
